Social Media Book Tag
Social Media Book Tag
Another book tag is here!!! I know, this
happens a long time ago! But, I’m doing this right now, right here. Well…better
later than never…right? Funny thing about social media…well…except Tumblr and
Myspace…I have every one of them. Umm…wait! I don’t have a YouTube channel…but I
do plan to do something with it. Just I have no idea when or how. Mostly I use
them to update my…you know…bookish stuff. But…the fact is...I originally have
those social media to be a fangirl.
1.
Twitter: Your
favorite shortest book.
My favorite shortest book is—The
100-Year-Old Secret,
the first book in The Sherlock Files series. This is my English homework at
school…and perhaps the shortest book on my bookshelf. Wait…not perhaps, but
definitely. I think it only get 100 more pages? So short. However, I must say
the first book isn’t bad at all. not WOW, yet I will have the urge to keep on
reading after the first book. So, I also finish the second and the third book
too.
2. Facebook:
A book everyone pressured you into reading.
Cinder, definitely Cinder. Well…while
I was reading Cinder…not “everyone,” but my classmate. Since…I haven’t been so
active on Goodreads or Book community then. But, I’ve long hear that this
series is excellent…so I thought I would give it a try! Then, bam! It turns out
perfectly. Although…whenever I mention Cinder…it reminds me how terrible the
Chinese translation is.
3.
Tumblr: A book
you read before it was cool.
Well…actually…no? Most of my books are famous…unless
after few years one of my “not-so-famous” books will suddenly “BANG!” and hit
the shelves. But for now…I don’t think I have such books. Still…I hope that
someday I can find a book like that.
4. Myspace:
A book you don't remember whether you liked or not.
Wait…I don’t even remember which book!!! Umm…it’s
a hard work to find the one in my huge bookshelves. And honestly…I know I
remember all the book I’ve read! So I can mostly tell which I like or dislike. Difficult…
I think…S. will do. Because I don’t even
know what it’s writing about!!! I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND!!!!
5.
Instagram: A
book that was so beautiful you had to Instagram it.
A Court of
Thorns and Roses + A Court of Mist and Fury!!! This series has one of the
best cover I’ve ever seen. They’re just so gorgeous!!! The cover, the feeling
of the paper, Feyre’s picture, Spring Court and Night Court…everything. I love
everything on this book! A Court of Mist and Fury might be one of the most posts
I’ve on Instagram…with cover, without cover. No kidding…a lot of ACOMAF.
6. YouTube:
A book you wish would be turned into a movie.
Every book? Can I choose every one of them? You
know I have a good taste on books!!! But, the one that I would love to watch is—Entwined!!!! I bet you’ve
probably heard me mention this before…but the truth is…Entwined is so beautiful
and dark and mysterious and lovely that it’ll make a perfect movie. And when
that happens someday, I’ll definitely watch it as soon as it release.
7. Goodreads:
A book you recommend to everyone.
Well…to everyone? You know…everyone has a
different taste…it’s hard to find a book that suit “everyone”. But, if that
happens…I’ll recommend you all Harry Potter. Yes, I know, it’s
famous and don’t need my recommendation. But, still, there are a lot of people
who don’t read Harry Potter just because it’s so famous…or something like that,
they don’t want to follow the trend. However, listen carefully, if you love
books…Harry Potter is definitely a must-read on your bookshelves/TBR list. It’s
suitable for all ages, not to mention Harry Potter is probably one of the first
YA/Children fantasy series. (I can’t categorize Harry Potter in YA/Children…but
it doesn’t matter.) If you don’t believe me…just look at all those crazy fans
and Harry Potter society!!! You’ll regret if you miss this wonderful book
series. It’s famous for reasons!!!
8.
Pinterest: A
book you follow on Pinterest board.
I love Pinterest. You can almost find every
picture you want as long as you know what key words to type in. And…actually, I
follow a lot Pinterest board. But my favorite is A
Court of Thorns and Roses series. Well…I also follow Doon series,
The Remnant Chronicles…which are all my favorite, but my favorite one is Sarah
J. Maas’ board. Her ACOTAR board contains a lot of the future possibility of
the series, not just fan arts or quotes, but really her plots’ inspiration. However…it’s
also a torturous thing to see her board…since you’ll keep wondering about how
the future story will go and how does they end. Especially when Sarah J. Maas
is such an unpredictable author…
So? Which Social Media do you have? Like me,
you have the most of them? Or you just have a few? No matter how many you have…it’s
all good ways to follow your beloved author and books.
Haha, I may or may not be that classmate who pressured you into reading Cinder XD
ReplyDeleteAs for YouTube...I'm actually going to upload my first video soon :P Looking forward to seeing yours in the futrue!
You definitely are the one who recommend me to read Cinder! Who else will it be?
