Kissed By Cameron Dokey   Absence makes the heart grow fonder in three romantic retellings…   She did it again!!! Such amazing fairytale retellings!!! Although…I didn’t love it as much as Once. It doesn’t surprise me that much, I prefer more the twist in Once. Still, a great book, without doubt. Kissed contains three Cameron Dokey’s stories: Belle, Sunlight and Shadow, and Winter’s Child. Hum…Belle is my favorite, which is the retelling of Beauty and the Beast…which I’ve already read thousands of retelling. As for Sunlight and Shadow…it doesn’t count as a fairytale retelling at all! It’s an opera retelling! Yes, mark my words, opera. It’s a retelling of Mozart’s The Magic Flute, which has the most famous song about the Queen of Night. And the last one, Winter’s Child, the retelling of Snow Queen. I’m not quite familiar with this story, actually. I only have a brief memory when I read in my childhood…very, very long time ago.   I love Cameron Dokey’s writing...

Once again By Liz Braswell & Cameron Dokey With a hint of magic and a spell of romance, the tales of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty come alive...   If you had read my Once review…you’ll know how much I love it…and now…behold, the most “UNIQUE” fairytale retelling of all time. Really, among all the stories I’ve read, magic, darkness, trouble, romance has involved in the plots. But two of these stories…are completely out of surprise. Remember I told you about the Rapunzel retelling? That isn’t the most surprising of all. Snow and Beauty Sleep are…definitely unexpected. When I finish the story, I was like…WOW! My mouth dropped.

Once By Cameron Dokey   Behold, another fairytale retelling!!! The first time I’ve heard about this book was when a website was voting for the fairest dress among the book cover. (Of course…those which were popular get more vote, I remember the top five books includes all of The Selection series. And of course, I voted for Entwined.) and then recently when I visit bookstore, I found this book on sale, so…it turns out that Once become one of my book collection. But it is worth reading, from the moment I started this book, I hadn’t found a bit of emotion called “regret.” This book is almost like fairy tales! Not just merely retelling! Now, let’s enjoy the three stories form this book: Before Midnight, Golden, and Wild Orchid.
