  Yes! Yes! Yes! The hero is back!!! Ahhhhh! We can own Percy once more!!! As you can see, the second book of The Heroes of Olympus is about Percy and is… horrible situation. Like Jason, Percy woke up without any memory, expected one person: Annabeth. How lovely! (Cough…) but at the same time we celebrate Percy’s return…we have to curse Hera again for departing Percybeth… I just say… if anything happened to them, well then great Hera…mwhahaha!

Seven half-bloods shall answer the call, 

To storm or fire the world must fall. 

An oath to keep with a final breath, 

And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death.

Percy is confused. When he awoke from his long sleep, he didn't know much more than his name. His brain fuzz is lingering, even after the wolf Lupa told him he is a demigod and trained him to fight with the pen/sword in his pocket. Somehow Percy manages to make it to a camp for half-bloods, despite the fact that he has to keep killing monsters along the way. But the camp doesn't ring any bells with him. The only thing he can recall from his past is another name: Annabeth 

Hazel is supposed to be dead. When she lived before, she didn't do a very good job of it. Sure, she was an obedient daughter, even when her mother was possessed by greed. But that was the problem — when the Voice took over her mother and commanded Hazel to use her "gift" for an evil purpose, Hazel couldn't say no. Now because of her mistake, the future of the world is at risk. Hazel wished she could ride away from it all on the stallion that appears in her dreams. 

Frank is a klutz. His grandmother says he is descended from heroes and can be anything he wants to be, but he doesn't see it. He doesn't even know who his father is. He keeps hoping Apollo will claim him, because the only thing he is good at is archery — although not good enough to win camp war games. His bulky physique makes him feel like an ox, especially infront of Hazel, his closest friend at camp. He trusts her completely — enough to share the secret he holds close to his heart. 

Beginning at the "other" camp for half-bloods and extending as far as the land beyond the gods, this breathtaking second installment of the Heroes of Olympus series introduces new demigods, revives fearsome monsters, and features other remarkable creatures, all destined to play a part in the Prophesy of Seven.

  As you can guess, we still need more demigods to complete the prophecy. And they should be chosen from the Roman Camp. There, Percy met two new demigods: Hazel and Frank. Just like the first book, I’ll introduce the characters briefly later, and of course, no one needs to hear about Percy Jackson! He’s the one of the most famous Heroes on the universe now!!! Almost every young adult has heard his name before… (Let along the horrible movie…but Logan Lerman really plays Percy well!) back to the book, Percy struggle to find the Roman Camp in order to bring back his memory. And as you can see, there’s no way that a demigod can go to the camp without monsters chasing. Percy once again faced the horrible cheer leaders, yes, I mean the one that appeared in the fourth book of Percy Jackson. And apparently, Percy got rid of them and made it to the Roman Camp. But he didn’t know that Poseidon wasn’t as…respected as he was in Half-Blood Camp, let along Percy was a completely new guy in Roman Camp and he “unfortunately” met the two “most-unpopular” guys in the camp. As it turns out, Percy almost can’t stay in the Roman Camp. This is the beginning of the book, and later part of it…you know, another quest for Percy to solve. So let’s say something about Hazel and Frank. Hazel, an extraordinary dark girl. (Sorry, Hazel…let’s how they’ll be impressed…)  Hazel was died, but been brought back. Wait! Isn’t that forbidden? Bring back the death? But someone was powerful enough to do it, and since the gods decided to shut out all of them…I believe no one will mind a little girl for leaving the underworld. Memory still haunted in her mind, and she must learn to face it. Compared to Piper and Annabeth. I can’t find many “WoW” personalities from Hazel. Don’t get me wrong, she is as brave and as smart as the other girls…but she doesn’t has a strong personality, and in the second and third book, most of her time was about her, Frank and Leo. (Why Leo? Haha…beg me to tell you!) Another new demigod we get is Frank. He was really something! There two gods’ blood in his body. (What? You say they are gay and even have child? Hold your tone, or I can’t save you when you were punished by the words.) Frank was the demigod of Ares (oh! Sorry again, it should be Mars.), god of war…unfortunately, he was a terrible fighter. He made many trouble in the Roman Camp, until…Percy came. Frank was also Percy’s brother! That’ll be a little bit weird…but the truth is, Frank’s family once had a son/daughter of Nepture, so he inherited the blood of the sea god. I don’t if it’s because Jason, Hazel and Frank are all from the Roman Camp, where curl training the rules are demand to obey, I can’t see them really well just through the first and second book! Of course, their personalities became stronger after the journey. (What journey? Oh! You must make a mistake…)

  This book is better than the first, I personally hope that’s not because Percy is back… (But I have to admit, adventure with Percy is much more fun with Jason!) many of the reader will afraid that a long connected series will become boring at the end, but at least right now, right here, I can tell you that you don’t have to worried about this book. Just I’ve said before, I was a little boring with all the similar plots in The Lost Hero, but in The Son of Neptune, problems solved! We get to read a whole new camp! And quite different to Camp Half –Blood, so it gives us a brand new sight for this book. Are you ready to set off journey with Percy once again? Beware, without Annabeth’s help… Can Percy still survive? Or he’ll mass up everything? Open the book and explore the “stubborn” Roman Camp with Percy!
