  Poor Chaol~ come and mend your broken heart... (Umm...Vivian, you're in the wrong story...this isn't a fairytale retelling...after all.) Keep sighing throughout the entire book...blaming Celaena, blaming Chaol...and especially Rowan!!! Noooo!!! The only person I didn't blame was Dorian...he was such a miserable guy!!! I don't need Rowan's sudden appearance!! Why would I need an old Fae? I only need Chaol! (But strangely...I didn't against Feyre and Tamlin in A Court of Thorns and Roses at all...it must all because Rowan was a horrible Fae...haha)

  Celaena has survived deadly contests and shattering heartbreak-but at an unspeakable cost. Now, she must travel to a new land to confront her darkest truth…a truth about her heritage that could change her life-and her future-forever. Meanwhile, brutal and monstrous forces are gathering on the horizon, intent on enslaving her world. Will Celaena find the strength to not only fight her inner demons, but to take on the evil that is about to be unleashed?

  Sarah J. Maas really did a great job to this book!!! Even though I hate it so much, but I my mind...I couldn't resist it. Well...terrible characters relationship...wonderful plots...blablabla... So...let's start with the plots! (Since it might attract those who are team Rowan...hmm...) 

  Heir of Fire started with Celaena arrive the Wendlyn. She was heartbroken by Chaol's decision...well...he wanted to protect you!!! Don't blame him for that...and then she was captured... (not exactly...) by a fae. She followed the guy to the magic land, where her aunt role all the magic creatures. It was quite interesting to read all those magic and training part! Celaena just kept amaze us how powerful she was...and in the magic land, she started to mend her broken heart, the heart which was broken after Nehemia's death. And she gradually faced her duty as an heir of Terrasen. And...and...started to have a better relationship with Rowan... (I hate this part...he was hundreds years old!!!! Go back to Chaol!!! Don't change your mind!!!!) But regardless of that, it was great that Celaena learned how to control her magic. And it was awesome!  While Celaena set off her journey at Wendlyn, Chaol started to figure out what Celaena had left him...all those message that might endanger him and Dorian...those informations that might change the entire kingdom. At the same time, Dorian's power kept getting stronger and out of controlled...he must learn how to conceal it. (Conceal, don't feel...well...a bit like Frozen...) 

  Beside original characters, we got two more new...one witch and one person. Manon and Sorscha! Honestly...I don't like Manon...so...I kind of skip the part, but she was a really important character. And as for...she was important...but hmm...poor girl. 

  Now...characters time! Sigh...Celaena...she was no longer the assassin I know...she had changed...and prepared to accept more her changes in the future...she is going to transform into someone entirely different. Chaol...poor Chaol...heart broken and unsure. He must change his perspective toward the girl he love...and remember that Celaena will always choose him...but Aelin won't. His burden just getting bigger...he needed to face the problems from everywhere: Dorian, Celaena, the King, Aedion...  Dorian...almost as miserable as Chaol...magic, romance...and his father. Dorian and Chaol both changed after Celaena left, to me, it seems that they became more...mature. Dorian was no longer the prince wondering and flattering with girl, while Chaol faced is father and managed to find out all the secret. And both of them had a "father problems."

  Rowan...the new character that appeared in Heir of Fire...I totally against him!!! (I saw a group of Team Rowan throwing knives toward me...sorry guys...I need to run now! Ahhh!!!) Well...he was arrogant, cold, and rude to Celaena at first. And then...during the training... (he was like having the wrong medicine)...he gradually be nice to her. He was a bit mix of Dorian and Chaol...and he had his dark past... (blablabla..."That's find our way back together"....blablabla")...I guess that's why... (Cough!)  Aedion! Another new character appeared in HOF...Aelin's cousin. He was such an unpleasant guy!!! Ahh!!! Don't talk to Chaol like that! (Sorry...) But what's good was that he was quite loyal to his old country...even though he worked for the King...unpleasant guy. (Yet I think he is a good cousin. After all.)  Manon!!! As I said before...she was a witch, and a powerful one. Well...I didn't finish her part...so...that's mean I fist like her...haha! But what I know is that she was a bad ass character, like Celaena.  And last... Sorscha! She was the healer in the castle...but she has an interesting identity...a lot of secret. She became more and more close to Dorian, and eventually... (Cough!) Oh! More will be a spoiler! 

  To sum up, Heir if Fire contains more magic stuff and more spiritual things. All of the characters must figure out what they truly understand. HOF has a lot of new pieces and that all of them are like puzzle, each piece matches each piece...and to the end...a revenge is about to begin. The story once again was great, it drown you in and you'll never get out...but well...I don't enjoy the characters as much as I used to, so...don't hate me if you're Team Rowan...because I hated him so much. Hahahahaha!
