Illuminae (The Illuminae File 1)

Illuminae
By Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Holy molly…this book is incredible!!!!! I love it sooooo much!!!!
Although I was so confuse at the beginning, yet…the book gets better and better and better!!!!!! it’s definitely one of the craziest books I’ve ever read…the plot, the setting…the design!!! Oh. My. God. The design…poor design team…I can hardly imagine how all those things come into pieces. There are so many things inside this book!!!!! The pictures, the codes…and everything, they all make this book perfect.

This morning, Kady thought breaking up with Ezra was the hardest thing she’d have to do. This afternoon, her planet was invaded.
The year is 2575, and two rival megacorporations are at war over a planet that’s little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra—who are barely even talking to each other—are forced to fight their way onto an evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.
But their problems are just getting started. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet's AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their enemy; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth, it's clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: the ex-boyfriend she swore she'd never speak to again.
BRIEFING NOTE: Told through a fascinating dossier of hacked documents—including emails, schematics, military files, IMs, medical reports, interviews, and more—Illuminae is the first book in a heart-stopping, high-octane trilogy about lives interrupted, the price of truth, and the courage of everyday heroes.

She is catalyst.
She is chaos.
I can see why he loves her
So…the book started with an invasion…and escape…and…you know, all those sci-fi scenes. I wasn’t really impressed with the first part…there are too many things and so confusing. But then, after like…100 pages? When things started to set into order…the book is phenomenon.
My heart beats so fast whenever I saw the counting post…and the plot just become faster and faster that I hardly had any minute to spare. I can’t breathe. I know…if I breathe, I’ll be the one afflicted to Phobos virus. I love all those creepy moments and especially when Kady hacks into the systems and speaks with those confused human beings.
What you do when stuff like this happens is you LIVE, you survive it, that's how you honour the ones you lost.
She is truly awesome. When Ezra seemed to be the damsel in distress, Kady saved the world!!! yeah!!!!! How awesome!!!!! Three cheers for Kady!!!! And…AIDAN!!!! (Can I secretly ship Kady and Aidan??? He is soooo cute!!!!!)
Right…back to the point. Although a lot of reader will kill me for shipping Kady and Aidan…after all…

She runs. Not away, but toward.
I really really love the last part of the book…if I can decide, I’ll give it every star from the universe. But, there is a little thing I’d like to complain. Since…diverse setting are put inside the “file,” it’s somehow a little bit hard to read in some of the parts. (Although I really love the creativity…but…I need to turn the book round and round and round to finish it.) And…since the setting are always jumping, it’s hard to get into the book at first, like I’ve said before. But…despite those two tiny details, I absolutely love the book. I love the characters, all of them. Some of them might be hateful, but…I love to hate them. And, the characters have some of the greatest twists…and WOW. That’s fantastic, especially Aidan…I love Aidan.
There is no other word for this book beside WOW. Whether you like sci-fi or YA, you’re going to love this book.
You deserve every star in the galaxy laid out at your feet and a thousand diamonds in your hair. You deserve someone who'll run with you as far as and as fast as you want to. Holding your hand, not holding you back. You deserve more than I could ever give you, Kady. But I'll give you everything I can if you still want me to.
