Daimon and Elixir Review (The Covenant Series 0.5 + 3.5)

Image
Daimon By Jennifer L. Armentraut   So…as I said at Goodreads before, I’m going to put Daimon and Elixir’s review together, since they’re both so short…I didn’t get enough of them!!!! I need more!!!!     I’ve waited for so long after I finish the entire Covenant Series and wanted to read them so much…but what did I exactly get? Just a few pages? How come it all end so quickly???   "Love in my world usually ended up with someone hearing 'I smite thee!' as she was cursed to be some lame flower for the rest of her life."

June + July Book Haul—Months for the Covenant

Image
June + July Book Haul—Months for the Covenant   Book haul? Are you ready? I’m absolutely ready for them!!! Yeah!!! Actually…I believe there will be more books after I arrived NYC, but since it’s a summer trip, I’ll do a NY book haul after I come back. And why I add June? Well…I completely forgot to write my June Book Haul…so…here I am, doing both month. Besides, there isn’t a lot of book for June, I save most of my money for US. But I did read some great book in June and July, so without further ado, let’s get the party started!!!

Sentinel (The Covenant Series 5)

Image
Sentinel By Jennifer L. Armentraut It’s a beautiful day for a war.   Seriously? War? What kind of situation will you put “beautiful day” and “war” together? I think only when everything turns out wrong… here comes the final book of The Covenant Series!!!! Noooo!!!!! I love it…every page of it. Do you know what I realize after reading the entire series? Never give up on books. You’ll never know how they’ll turn out. In every Covenant series’ reviews I’ve mentioned that I don’t practically like Half-Blood…but who knows I become a huge fan of other four books? I’m glad that I’ve kept the habit of reading the entire series no matter how it goes, cause you can never guess what the authors are going to do next. Never.   As the mortal world slowly slips into chaos of the godly kind, Alexandria Andros must overcome a stunning defeat that has left her shaken and in doubt of their ability to end this war once and for all.   And with all the obstacles between ...

Apollyon (The Covenant Series 4)

Image
Apollyon By Jennifer L. Armentraut   Fate isn’t something to mess with…and now, neither is Alex.   Holly daimon…this book is getting better and better and better!!!! You need proof? Here you go—Half-Blood, three stars; Pure and Deity, four stars, and now—Apollyon, five stars!!!! The book is so amazing!!! I love it in every possible way, the plots, the characters…just draw every inch of me. Remember the last scene from Deity? Alex was connected with Seth… her Seth. As you can guess…we’re now having a…well…weird Alex, and I kind of like her in that way. (Strange huh?) But besides that, everything in this book is great!!!   Alex has always feared two things: losing herself in the awakening and being place on the elixir. But love has always been stronger than fate, and Aiden St. Delphi is willing to make war on the gods—and Alex herself—to bring her back.

Deity (The Covenant Series 3)

Image
Deity Jennifer L. Armentraut   History is on repeat, and things didn’t go so well the last time.   This series is getting better and better!!! I’m so glad that I keep reading and didn’t give up on it! Especially…there are some hot, heart-touched, emotional scenes. (Fanning myself…) And I love how the relationship goes…it’s getting better and better!!! It takes me more than a month to finish Half-Blood, about one week to finish Pure…guess what? It only takes two day…or three to finish Deity!!! (Not to mention I’m now moving toward Apollyon and Sentinel. And…I almost finish Apollyon.) See? The Covenant series is becoming a devoured book!!! It can now be place as love, not like, not OK. But love. I love how everything goes and what is going to happen next.   Alexandria isn’t sure she’s going to make it to her eighteenth birthday—till her awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her. And if the council ever discovers what she d...

Pure (The Covenant Series 2)

Image
Pure Jennifer L. Armentraut   There is need…and then there is Fate.   Remember that I didn’t like the first book “that” much? Well…that changed. Although…I didn’t particularly like the…well…Alex and Seth part…but the plot is great!!! I was like…mind blown. Amazing job, amazing work. (Or is it that the first book of Vampire Academy is so much alike with Half-Blood? I’m not sure…but…at least l felt this one much better than the first.) The first book might be…well…nothing special, but not bad. The second book is totally excited and thrill. I just love how the plot goes and didn’t even mind the material of the paper!!! For more prove? You know…it took me a long while to order the second and the third after finishing the first…but I’ve already got my hand on the forth and the fifth book. See? I’ve the entire collection of The Covenant series!!! I’ll only order my pre-sequel when I arrived New York. (Whenever I mentioned NYC…I was jumping and shouting.)   ...

Half-Blood (The Covenant Series 1)

Image
Half-Blood By Jennifer L. Armentraut   Could you kill the one you love?   Well…where to start? Let’s start with the awesome cover!!! I’m so in with this kind of cover! The major reason why I buy this book is because of its cover. It’s so beautiful!!! And the other books have covers as amazing as well. But…to be honest…it take me a long long while to finish this book. When I first read it, I stopped at page 10, then page 50. After that, I started to read The Kiss of Deception, The Siren, and Winter. So recently, I’m run out of book, so I decided to pick it up and read it again. This time…well…look down below and find out!   The Hematoi descend from the unions of god and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi—Pure-bloods—have godlike power. Children of Hematoi and mortals—well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill Daimons or become servants in the homes of the Pures.   Seventeen-year-old Alexandr...
