  Here comes another short stories series! Is it as good as the first one? Or is it just another “nothing” book? I was so dilemma when I saw this book, I was afraid I would get something like The Ultimate Guide which makes me really disappointed, but when I remember the fun stories in The Demigod Files, I anticipated this book.

  What dangers do runaway demigods Luke and Thalia face on their way to Camp Half-Blood? Are Percy and Annabeth up to the task of rescuing stolen goods from a fire-breathing giant who doesn't take kindly to intruders? How exactly are Leo, Piper, and Jason supposed to find a runaway table, dodge a band of party-loving Maenads (who just might be a little psychotic), and stave off a massive explosion...all in one hour or less? With his trademark wit and creativity, Rick Riordan answers these questions and more in three never-before-seen short stories that provide vital back-story to the Heroes of Olympus and Percy Jackson books. Original art, enlightening character interviews and profiles, puzzles, and a quiz add to the fun in this action-packed collection.
  Apparently, this book isn’t as horrible as The Ultimate Guide…or I won’t sit here and type the review. The good thing is that it combines the Greek and Roman Demigod, the bad thing is…there is less Percy and Annabeth. The first story is about Luke and Thalia, when Luke first heard about his destiny and where Thalia found her fearsome shield—Aegis. Than we got Percybeth!!! They were supposed to have a romantic one-month anniversary for…first kiss? (Seriously? I can hardly believe that’s what Annabeth will ask for…but girls~). As you can guess, they had quite a “romantic” celebration with a horrible guy, thanks to Hermes. But I trust Percy would think it’s worthy of it…since… (Shhh!!! No Spoiler!) The last story is Leo, Jason and Piper, mainly Leo. Oh sorry, I love Percy and Annabeth better, so I didn’t enjoy this story as I did in Staff of Hermes. But still great! We can get some information from the Heroes of Olympus. So…is the book worthy to buy? Hum…I believe it is. And just like the first extra stories, the cover and the paper were absolutely gorgeous. You’re really reading from a diary!

October + September Book Haul Pottermore Patronus New Announcement     I know that’s a lot…but sorry, I forget some other post than reviews are important too!!! I fail my book tag goal terribly these months…such a busy freshman. (Nonsense, I spent most of my time wandering around.) So! Let’s start with Pottermore Patronus!!!   I was so excited when I heard the announcement and I did the quiz immediately that day, without any hesitation. Really, immediately. And you know what? I love my Patronus!!! I know a lot of people out there hate their Patronus, since it might be a salmon…or something like that. But, there are also extremely wonderful Patronus, such as Griffins, or Phoenix. However, they’re also extremely rare as well. I think I also got a rare Patronus? At least that’s what Pottermore told me, unless it said it to everyone. Still, I wish everyone of you love your Patronus regardless how much you hate the animal, Patronus aren’t always what we think they are.
